Turkey Sloppy Joes

Sloppy joes are always a fun, easy meal...and I love the flavor.  I've been used to grabbing a can of Manwich whenever we decide to make them for dinner, but this time around I decided to try something new and make my own.

I found this recipe on pinterest, with the recipe just posted in the description, so I have no source to link to.  I made a few adjustments--using a bit more onion and ketchup.

I chopped some onion finely, then added it with minced garlic to a nonstick skillet with a pound of ground turkey and let them cook.

Once the meat was ready, I added in ketchup, water, yellow mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.  Once it started bubbling, I lowered the heat and let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes.
I served the finished sloppy joes on some buns.

Aaaaand I am bever buying Manwich again.  Homemade is way better.  I loved it and my husband loved it enough to have seconds, so I am definitely converted!  Just a few extra steps and you've got a homemade sloppy delight.
